An absolute must go if hunger strikes, the best sandwich wagon for miles! Previously had the sausage and egg bap which is always beautiful can't really drive past in the morning without getting one, today I went for the steak onion and cheese sandwich and it was amazing, all round 10 out of 10 service from Dave, cheers.

We first passed Dave's Snacks on the way to an open water swim at nearby Lenches Lake. Our curiosity was first piqued by the Rib Eye Steak sign, an unusual foodstuff to offer at a roadside vendor. Offered on the menu alongside traditional breakfast fayre, many of which were being enjoyed by regulars, the Rib Eye Sandwich, from £8, is served on crusty bread and griddled to order expertly by Dave, who is enthusiastic and friendly. I upgraded mine (medium rare), with cheese, mushrooms, onion and a good splodge of Colman's, washed down with an ice cold Fanta. Two of my companions had similar, with the third opting for a sausage and egg. All were devoured enthusiastically, with 5 out of 5 ratings, and a visit to Dave's is now officially our recommended post-swim spot. There are benches and bins outside, and it's quickly accessed in a layby off the A435, near J3 of the M42. Perfect food stop for those travelling on the M42, much better than the Motorway Services.

10/10 If you’ve driven down the A435 towards Redditch you’ve seen the rib-eye steak sandwich sign. Well, a couple of months ago I stopped in to see what it’s all about & Dave made me a ribeye steak and egg sandwich (chili sauce) on crusty bread and it blew me away. Cooked to perfection - they are delicious Ive eaten all over the West Midlands, and would & do happily drive out of my way to eat at Dave’s. You have to give it a go, you’ll kick yourself you never stopped earlier, DELICIOUS. 10/10 Thank you Dave

Absolutely gorgeous steak sandwich. I collect our sandwiches for my workers too... every time the foods bang ong on the money!!!. The steak sandwiches are beautiful, melt in your mouth. If you want food that's consistently tasty, try Daves, especially the steak, amazing!!!

Just had a lovely steak and salad. With a coffee . Paid £11.50. It was my treat for managing a full week's work with a couple of hours overtime. It was relaxing to eat a good meal sitting outside on a sunny day. Worth encouraging. The burgers etc....looked good too.

Drive past this snack van time and time again and today I finally did great service lovely lay-by and a great conversation and to top it off an amazing Ribeye stake sandwich with quality ingredients
